How soon after conception would a Beta show hcg? Maybe I should try this instead of waiting until the day a hpt will be positive as that seems to be too late for me.

I have always gone in for a beta as soon as I've gotten a BFP

^^Yes, but I'm wondering if it would show an hcg level (even small) prior to that.

it might but tests like FRER can show a line when your level is as low as 5. It might not hurt to go in and get a beta done if your doctor will do it.
