Came in to work today, and during briefing it was announced that 3 women I work with are pregnant, and all 3 were 'accidents'. My heart sank and I had a lump so big in my throat that I couldn't even talk. Then one lady turns to me and says, "ok, when are you finally going to have kids?" I couldn't open my mouth because I knew if I did I would just cry, so I politely smiled and they continued talking. Now, I'm stuck at work for the next 10 hrs and I just wanna go home so I can cry. It's taking everything in me to hold my composure, it's just not fair. I know that we all must deal with this, how do you handle it?

It does hit hard and it hurts a lot... We want it to be us, we want to stop hurting... we want what seems to come so easily (or on accident) to others. I understand. I had to deal with co-workers pregnancies and one that ended up having a baby 1 week before my due date. I wish I could say the pain goes away... It does get easier but as they keep talking about their pregnancies expect it to sting now and again. Maybe you could tell them about your losses? Tell them you are not looking for sympthay but it may get through to them that it does hurt you and when you do cry they will at least try to understand. ((Hugs))

OMG!!! Another one just came in and announced that she too is pregnant! There are only about 25 people that work here and seemingly all of them are going to have babies but me. I can't handle this, I think I wanna quit my job.

Just wanted to come in and give you a huge hug & loads of support. Such a difficult time to go through. P
lease don't quit your job just yet. You are going through an emotionally challenging time atm, please vent to us & we will help you through it. When all the hype with the announcements clam down, then think about quitting your job - you mind will be alot clearer then. x

I am so sorry... I don't handle those situations very well... I usually just leave or stop talking altogether. It is heartbreaking. Hugs.

I'm feeling better today....I think.....it's just hard because they don't understand why I am sad and not joining in the conversations. I just hope I get my BFP really soon so that I don't have to go through watching them grow big bellies and get excited for the next 9 months while I sit in the corner and cry.
