OMG Ladies I am over the moon!! Remember I had done a round of Provera at the end of March And still didn't get AF. But had some bleeding on day 3 of Provera. I posted on here about it and you ladies said to count that as CD1. I have been using OPK's for weeks now and have only been getting negatives. Yesterday I finally saw the line get darker. It was so dark but not quite positive yet plus it was CD 13. I knew it would get darker and sure enough today I woke up and it was positive!! I'm just sad I don't know how to chart so I won't know for sure if I ovulate. But we have been BD'ing like crazy 3 times yesterday and twice this morning. The only hang up I have is I am scheduled for a LEEP procedure on April 27th. I can't have the LEEP done if I am pregnant and it is important. But I haven't been able to TTC again in 2 months this is my first sign I could be fertile again I can't help but want to take it. I will know by the 27th if we are pregnant. So if we concieve I guess we will put the LEEP off. I know most people wouldn't do that especially because I have high grade lesions that need to be taken off. But the procedure causes cervical incompetency. I already have an incompetnant cervix and I'm sure the D&C caused some weakness I don't want to have another procedure that could make it harder to carry the baby to term. I guess I'm confused is it wrong for me to try?And if we get pregnant this cycle we hold off, if not I get the LEEP done and we try when I am healed enough?? What would you do?? But I am SO EXCITED to get a + OPK!! Haha you would think I got a + HPT I am so happy!!

***ADDED OPK PROGRESSION PIC***

Sorry its so big ladies!!

Hmm. I too have had the LEEP procedure (about 3 yrs ago), but my Dr said that it wouldn't affect pregnancy. I had been doing some researching on the internet about it as well, but everything is conflicting. It really makes me wonder though, because even when I started to bleed at the start of this miscarriage, the babe still had a strong heartheat. Could it have been because of my cervix? I can't even bear to think of that actually. As for your question, wow, thats a predicament! I see both sides of that. The danger to your health is pretty huge if you do consider waiting to get the LEEP. Thats sary. But on the other hand, if LEEP can have an effect on the ability to carry a child, then I guess you have to weigh how quickly the cells are changing, and the damage to yourself, with the difficulties that can come with having the LEEP. Sorry I dont think that my answer was very helpful....

The LEEP procedure is where the Dr takes a metal loop that is hooked to an electrical source. When charged the loop becomes a heated 'super' scalpel which then can be used to remove precancerous or cancerous cells from your cervix. (heated to cauterize as it cuts to reduce bleeding) Hope that helps Sierra!
