I had cd2 bloodwork today and my FSH was 15... I am crying... It was 9 last month so I was so hopeful that I would have a chance... The doctor said go ahead with the clomid but I know my chances are so slim now to have a baby. This sucks.

Thanks Julie, I love them so much. I cried so hard today, like really sobbed like I haven't in the past year since our loss. DF cried with me, I have never seen him cry. The boys don't understand why this hurts me so much but they try to be as supportive as they can. They don't like me being so sad. Are your children involved with your TTC at all? I try to hide as much as I can from them but we are really close and they can tell when I am upset.

HUGS..... I refuse to give up hope!!! REFUSE!!!! I believe in Miracles.. I DO, I DO! I have seen so many on JM.... Yours is next Missy... Love ya!!
This was taken from reasearch I was doing for you..
Below taken from this link Determining Ovarian Reserve: A Review of the Tools, Tests, and Techniques
Passive Ovarian Reserve Testing: Measuring FSH and LH, Part 5 A single measurement of day 3 FSH may not represent actual ovarian reserve. When testing reveals elevated FSH, this result should be confirmed in a later cycle. However, interpretation of fluctuations across multiple cycles is controversial. Among patients with a series of day 3 FSH values that include at least one unfavorable (elevated) FSH test, a low response to ovulation induction has been observed [27]. Another analysis revealed that patients with both high and low FSH values across multiple cycles performed as low responders during IVF [28]. However, other investigators regard variable FSH results differently. Some consider relatively low day 3 FSH values permissive for IVF or other fertility treatments during that cycle. Preliminary data suggest that if FSH returns to a "normal" level after an abnormal (high) test in a previous month, conception rates for IVF may be approximately 35% for patients under the age of 40 [29].

Kary - What were your FSH levels? Thanks for the article and research. I read it all... hung on every word. I am not giving up hope yet... We are going through the IUI this month but after this we are broke and hit our max budget. I was so hopeful, I shouldnt have asked the nurse for the exact FSH numbers. I should have clung on that they were so great for the past 6 months...
I am just feeling sorry for myself and now the side effects of the clomid are kicking in and I am crying anyway... LOL
I am the last one left of the origonal group.... I have to graduate

Thanks Celena.... I am trying so hard not to cry and think positive this cycle. DF is going crazy, he is sad but he said having a baby is not going to determine our happiness together as a couple. I am sure as next week comes and it gets closer to O time that I will start to get more excited and hopeful about the trigger shot and IUI. Then I will just be ultra babbly again
Love you!

I LOVE you too!!!! I can't help but to get super teary when replying because I can feel your heart, but dammit I have FAITH that you're going to get pregnant.
That little flash of a dream I told you about... can't shake that feeling that you will have your babe! Or babes! ....I saw you with little light haired boy, the feeling was 2 children... they were toddlers 2or so years old. That's all I can remember
Sorry I haven't called or text, been sorta keeping to myself since my parents left... have tons on my mind. We're thinking of moving closer to them, well I definitely am. DH has potential to have his own shop (or at least be partner and in his own shop) if we moved to KY. So it's allot to think about. It's not excuse tho and I'm sorry.

Woah... I totally forgot about your dream and the last time you had a dream like that it came true (with Lori)... I would LOVE 2 more little boys!! We have talked about multiples so many times and we are both all for it. It was funny, the other day (before my bad fsh results) the doctor was talking to me about future IUI cycles ect.... and I totally interupted him and said "no need to talk about the future, we are going to have 2 babies this time". He laughed and said well they are a lot of work. I said I have 3 already, 2 more will add to the fun.
No worries on not calling... take all the time you need. Moving near family might just give you that extra support you need/want right now. ((hugs))

missy
FSH fluctuates every cycle. It can be lower one cycle and higher another. anyone who tells you that they base your odds of getting pregnant on your HIGHEST FSH doesn't know what they are talking about. They are now even saying that FSH isn't the best way to measure ovarian reserve. There is a better test now. I can find the name of the test if you'd like. It's no trouble.
If you don't believe that you can get pregnant with high fsh (and yours isn't even that high), then go to fertility friend and do a search on the pregnancy charts and put with high fsh as a search criteria and see how many women get pregnant with much higher fsh than you have!! you can do this girl, I KNOW IT!!!!!! I JUST KNOW IT!!!

Thanks so very much Lynda.
On another note, DF came to me this am and said I am depressed and I need to get therapy and/or meds. That he loves me to much to sit by and watch me like this and not try to help. I think he is right.

Missy, it sounds like you have a great guy there. He loves you for you, sounds like a keeper.
I would keep trying, it aint over till it's over, KWIM. Maybe do a little NTNP with a little extra wish for a bfp.
Also, I'd ask for another FSH test done. Just to see if you go back to better levels.

Thanks Girls! I appreciate you. and shortcake I love your JM Family blinkie
I went ahead and took a welbutrin today. I will call my doctor tomorrow and get a lower dose perscription. I stopped taking it in January due to TTC with an RE but my RE gave the green light to take it. No sense in me being miserable.
