During chat the other day we were talking about recipes from restaurants, etc. so I thought I would start this thread. ( I hope that is ok)

***We can all post our favorite recipes!!! Recipe can be one you have made up, one in a cookbook that you like, or one from a restaurant. Also, if there are any recipes that you would like post that too. Maybe someone else has it!***

LET'S START US A JM TTCAL RECIPE BOOK!!!

I bought a cookbook that has recipes in it from various restaraunts. It has Red Lobster: biscuits & Olive Garden: fettuccine alfredo!

I haven't tried them b/c I haven't got the cookbook in yet. I will post them though as soon as I get it! If anyone has any chicken recipes to post that would be great! I love chicken and I am always trying to figure out different ways to cook it.

Lisa I'm so glad you started this Thread!! The other night I had said I was looking for Rattle Snake Bites from Texas Road House... Well I found it.......

Texas Roadhouse Rattlesnake Bites

LOCAL12.com Media Center - :: Cincinnati news story :: LOCAL 12 WKRC-TV in Cincinnati

2 c. shredded Monterrey Jack cheese
4-5 jalapeños, chopped (can use green or red bell peppers to reduce spiciness)
2 - 4 Tbs. milk or half & half or cream
1/2 c. breadcrumbs
crushed red pepper to taste
salt & pepper
cornmeal, buttermilk for coating

In large bowl, combine cheese, peppers, milk, and breadcrumbs. Mix well by hand, then form small egg shapes. Roll the “eggs” in mixture of cornmeal and seasonings, then dip them in buttermilk and roll them in cornmeal again.

Freeze for at least 30 minutes (longer if it is hotter in the kitchen).

Fry until golden brown (about 2 minutes). Drain and serve with ranch dressing.

Another Fav of mine is this Quick and Easy and it is ALWAYS a HIT!! I always have to email the recipe to at least 5 people!!

Cheesecake in a Bowl

16 oz. sour cream

8 oz. soft cream cheese (I use two packages for extra Goodness!)

1 tsp. vanilla

1/4 cup sugar

1 box (3-3/8 oz.) instant pudding, any flavor (I use cheesecake or vanilla (only if I can't find cheesecake)

1 jar or can of pie filling (cherry, blueberry, apple, etc.) (I buy two just so people have a choice)

Mix all ingredients together except pie filling. Pour into serving bowl and top with pie filling. Refrigerate.

Enjoy!

Thanks Kary! I love cheesecake so I will have to try that one.

I am sure I could find it on the internet, but does anyone know the recipe for the fruit dip. It is usually served at showers or weddings. I have always wanted some of that for fruit at home.

I got my book today!!!! This is a copycat version.

Olive Garden: Fettuccini Alfredo

1 pound fettuccine
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
6 jumbo egg yolks
Salt and cracked pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes

1. Cook the fettuccine according to the package directions
2. Heat the milk and cream in a large, heavy saucepan until the mixture comes to a simmer.
3. Slowly whisk in the cheeses and then remove from the heat.
4. Place the egg yolks in a bowl and slowly whisk in a portion of the hot milk and cream mixture.
5. Slowly pour the egg yolk mixture back into the milk and cream mixture in the pan.
6. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
7. Add the cooked fettuccine to the saucepan. Sprinkle in the garlic powder and stir until the sauce thickens to the desired consistency.
8. Sprinkle with the parsley. Serve immediately.

I completely forgot I was going to post my recipe for red lobster biscuits! They're so easy to make but so not healthy

2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 Tablespoon parsley flakes

- mix bisquick, milk and cheese until a soft dough forms
- bake for 10 minutes at 450 on an un-greased baking sheet
- melt butter and mix with garlic powder and parsley, brush over warm biscuits

I have a slim yet yummy chicken recipe that I can share with you when i get home as I am at work now. Stay tuned for some good chicken.

Crunchy Chicken
1 boneless chicken breast per person
Rinse with water - pat dry with paper towel - dip in low fat milk
I a ziplock bag combine: (All measures are guesstimates so feel free to try away)
1/2 - 1 cup of corn flakes
1 tbs of sesame seed
1 - 2 pinch of paprika powder (for a little zing)
Salt and Pepper for taste
Crush the corn flakes and mix all together
coat the chicken
Put in baking sheet covered with foil and butter spray or olive oil in a spray can for coating to not have chicken stick.
Cook chicken at 400F for 15-20 min
Serve with rice or potato and a salad on the side. Enjoy!
