I'm seeing my doctor on friday...Will they do an exam post D&C? I didn't have one at my appointment after I had Ella, but i'm not sure if they do for after a D&C....On a good note, I think my bleeding is just about done *knock on wood*...Watch, now i'll go to the bathroom and it'll be back ugh...Pregnancy test today was almost negative too!!!!

I didn't get an exam when I went back to see my doctor after my D&C.

I'm getting an exam after my D&C. I also had one last year after my 1st D&C. It's really just an internal exam to see that the cervix healed I guess. I don't get an u/s or anything. Also I'm getting blood work done this time to hopefully get some answers.

I spoke too soon about the bleeding UGH...Seriously, I went all day yesterday with just light spotting, then it stopped for hours...I even checked before I went to bed and there was nothing...I woke up in the middle of the night bleeding again, heavy.....I can't take this anymore!!!

BTW I hope if i'm still bleeding they don't give me an exam.....Now i'm going to worry all week!

I did get an exam at my D&C followup, just to make sure my cervix had healed and my uterus had shrunk back down to normal size. I hope your bleeding stops soon and your followup goes well!

Ugh, I'm sorry about the bleeding I went 2 months worth of bleeding thru-after my last loss if that makes ya feel any better... just when I thought it was lightening up it would start gushing again too yuck!

I will warn you tho, some will go ahead and do an exam even tho you're bleeding / spotting my dr's have... several of them

if he wants to do an exam i'm going to refuse and make another appointment...That just doesn't set right with me, it already feels gross enough as it is lol

Have the exam done. All your OB wants to do is make sure your cervix and uterus are healing the way they should be.
