Hey ladies,

I have a question. Can clomid make you O early? I usually O around day 16, today is day 12 for me, and my opk is almost positive. I stopped taking it on day 9, so, i'm thinking i may O early?

I'm covered on the BD'ing. I told DH that we had to BD every day for the next week, just to be extra sure we catch my eggs.

Thoughts?

Hi Sweetie. I heard that you usually ovulate about 5 days after taking your last dose of clomid. However last month I ovulated 7 days after my last dose. So maybe as an unmedicated cycle can vary so can a clomid cycle.

Are you being monitored with ultrasound?

I believe so... sounds like you'll have that surge and O within the next couple of DAYS!!!

I'm not being followed by ultrasound because I was already ovulating regularly. I think they follow with u/s if you don't ovulate regularly. I keep mc'ing so my RE thinks that if I release more than one egg a month, i have a better chance of catching a healthy one. With my luck, I'm going to end up like Jon & kate plus 8 only with a better haircut. LOL

LOL... To relieve your mind a little, clomid has a low chance of 8 babies

Day 12 sounds about right... you should have a + on CD13... ovualte 14-15 so if you took you last pill on CD 9.... 14 would be 5 days after clomid... That was about when I would Ovulate on Clomid.. I say start BD get the guys at the gate!!! GOOD LUCK!

Oh Kary, way ahead of ya! I've been tackling him every night since i stopped the clomid. DH is a happy guy this week.
