Hi Friends,

I did not bother with POAS this cycle, too nerve racking. I just asked for a quantitative Beta @ 10dpo. They called with results the next day and I am pregnant again. I am thrilled, but nervous. I am also on heparin for my blood clotting disorder this time around and progesterone as an extra precaution. I am awaiting results from a second beta, so please pray for me.

Anywhoo, at 10dpo I did start to feel these unusual sensations in the uterine area. It is also that same day that I had what I believe was implantation bleeding. A small amount of diluted looking blood that wouldn't even have been noticed were I not a habitual toilet-paper-scoper-outer. I guess for regular ttcers, implantation bleeding is wonderful, for me kind of scary. I've never had it with other pgs., but I also don't think those ever implanted completely. But back to the unusual sensations/cramps. They were the most noticeable @ 10dpo, but also continued a little @ 11dpo and 12dpo. Today is 13dpo and so far I don't feel them. But it makes me nervous that I did have them. I guess the best way to describe them would be like maybe a feeling of the muscle stretching itself or like a spasm. It wasn't rhythmic like the contractions I had when I lost my first pg. These were sporadic throughout the day and seemed to happen mostly when I was in a sitting position. Last night a couple of them felt like quick little stabs. Oh and they're all on the right side, which I believe is the side baby is on.

Any ideas on this? Every little twinge is kind of scary, which I'm sure you all understand. I hope I can get past the point of not letting every little thing scare me about this pregnancy. I believe God is watching over me and baby.

Congrats! Every twinge is scary. Every pull, every bathroom visit, everything is scary for the first little while. It does get better but it takes time. The cramping is normal. I have been told that all of the way through my pregnancy. But I know you already know that in your head (since you have been through a loss before). The baby is probably still implanting and snuggling in for the long haul... that would be why you are still getting some stabbing pains. I know I did but for the life of me I can not remember which side now. Anyway as hard as it is (and I can say this but I didn't do it) try not to over analyze everything. It will drive you crazy (like it did me!).

Congrats again - head over to PAL when you feel comfortable.

How are you feeling? Have you been back to the dr. or anything? Any new betas? I haven't been on a lot so I didn't know if I missed a post.

Thanks for asking Lisa, you are so thoughtful --I was just coming in here to update.

God is so good, my beta almost tripled (from 34 to 99) in two days!

I have another beta today and my first doc's appt. will be May 5th, probably too early to see much on a sono but it will be good to go in.

May 5th isn't that far away! Less than two weeks! I will remember that day b/c I go in for another round of chemo. Are they going to do a sono that day? Keep us posted on your betas!
