Does anyone know how long it takes your levels to reach zero? I had mind drawn on Wed and we are 3 weeks post D&C and it was still 68. Just wondering if any of you ladies might know how long...? thanks!

It really depends. Mine were 171 one week, 86 a week later, and then 6 a week later. I'm not sure what the norm is but to me it seemed like forever. GL!

I did not have a d&c, but with all three of my loses it took 3 to 4 weeks for my levels to reach 0.

Good luck!

I had a natural (no DNC) m/c at 6 weeks, and you can look at my chart to see how my HPTs and b/w progressed afterwards. Basically, I still got a pos FRER at CD11, a neg at CD13, and when I went for b/w on Cd18 my hcg was a 2. It might have gone down earlier than CD18 but that's when I went for the b/w. I hope it goes down for you soon!

I'm 18 days past a D&C (I was 15 weeks)...Yesterday I took an IC test and there was barely a line, but still a line....I'm sure if I took a FRER there'd be a darker line....I'm not sure how long it takes, but i'd guess 3-4 weeks.

I am 3 weeks post delivery and d+c and my level was 8. Just had labwork done again so I'm hoping I'll be under 5 when the results come in on Monday.
I was told by my Dr that it should take approx 4 weeks.
Did you have another blood draw?

Every woman is different... and also depends how far along, and if they got everything....

I had a natural m/c in Sept/Oct... I was told my numbers were not rising.. they were only 91... I bleed for two "light" days... my numbers were than 50's.... it took almost 5 weeks for my numbers to drop to 0

After my D/C last Feb... it took over 5 weeks for AF to show... I didn't test that month.. since my dh had back surgery.. and we didn't bd.. so I knew their was NO way I could be pregnant... now looking back I wish I had to follow my progression.

KUP!

It varies and also depends on the type of m/c you had. I am not really any help on this though b/c I had a diff m/c and b/c of that I am still getting positive tests.

I had a D&C at 12 weeks and it took a good 6 weeks to get back to a negative result.

It happens faster for some than others but at least it's on it's way down.

@ Stace - read your story on the Sept DDC. So, so sorry but pleased to see you here (if that makes sense?). Take care.

It took 11 weeks for my hcg levels to get to negative (I had my D&C at 12w). But my experience was way out of the norm- I had to get extra tests and ultrasounds done because it was so weird. I hope your tests are negative soon.

No problem. It just varies. I m/c 18 1/2 weeks ago and I am still not negative yet. 68 is relatively a low number so I am sure you will be negative really soon!!! When do you go in for another blood draw?
