My doctor told me yesterday that I could get my period soon...I didn't think anything of it since i was still bleeing yesterday...Well today i'm having no bleeding, but boy am I having cramps...AF type cramps...Is it possible to get AF right after your bleeding stops? It's been 18 days (3 weeks on tuesday) since my D&C...I am still taking pregnancy tests...I can't tell if there's a line or it's an evap, or just in my mind, so it's obviously not much of a line....Also even if this isn't AF getting ready to come, is the first AF after a miscarriage really crampy and heavy?...Oh and I was really moody for a couple of days, could of been PMS.

I guess anything is possible, I hope it's AF so that you can get back on track and know your body is getting itself back.

Big hugs.

I cant say whats normal for everyone, but I can tell you that my first af after m/c was horribly heavy with lots of clotting. Hopefully your body gets back to regular cycles quickly! Good luck hun.

I hope it is too! Not that I want to be bleeding again, but I hate not knowing what's going on with my body...I also don't mind if it takes another week or two...Stacey, are you thinking of TTC again any time soon? Just curious, you don't have to answer if you don't want, I just noticed you were posting over here if you are, good luck!!!

I had awful cramps during my first AF after my m/c in February. They were much better the second month.

I am Megan .... I'm waiting on AF and actually excited to get her I was told to wait 2 cycles after AF .... we'll see if I decide to follow instructions!! I haven't done my "formal" intro on the board yet .... guess I should have done that before I started replying ... LOL! Maybe if we're lucky we'll be together again in a DDC!!!

Good luck!!! I hope you don't have to try for long....When I had Ella I started trying right away....I got pregnant after my 2nd AF...My doctor told me that I can start to try 6 weeks after my D&C, so that's not far off.

I bled and spotted for 10w3d (my hcg was still high though). I was induced at almost 16w and 2 months later needed a d&c. 27 days after my d&c I started AF. I stopped bleeding/spotting for about 18 days. I hope AF is right around the corner for you. I know how miserable it is to bleed for so long and you just want AF to come and go so you can move on.
