It was our first date-night since D&C in march and we got a babysitter for our 3-year old. We went out to eat and had a really good time then got home at 10pm and the little one was already in bed asleep. Well, one thing led to an other and we forgot to use protection. :O I had my first menstrual cycle (since D&C) 10 days ago so I guess it's possible that you know.....I can't even say it, so scary. Anyways my question is, would it be okay if I got a BFP 1 cycle after D&C and does that affect my chances of having a sticky pregnancy? OMG, can't believe I am actually thinking about this when it will probably turn out to be nothing. Any input is welcome. thanks ladies. so glad to be here.

OMG, I'm kind of going through the same thing right now!! I had my D&C 13 days ago and today was the first time DTD since. I was thinking the same thing. What if I get pregnant again? Will everything be ok?

I do believe that some women have gone on to have normal pregnancies the right after a D&C, so I wish you the best of luck!!

It will not affect your next pregnancy.. Your body has to be ready to let you get pregnant.... I hope your body is ready... and your sticky BFP is to follow!!!!

with Kary. Your body won't get pregnant if it isn't ready. There have been quite a few girls get pregnant right away and go on to have healthy babies.
