This is the dumbest thing I've ever read! Most states in this country won't even recognize a stillborn baby enough to even give them a birth certificate...but if a woman falls accidentally and causes a miscarriage they want to jail them? that's stupid...I know my sister accidentally fell when she was about 16 weeks pregnant while giving her kids a bath and ended up having a miscarriage...It's not like she did it on purpose...Should we walk around in plastic bubbles just in case something *might* happen?

Utah criminalizes certain miscarriages

This is not exactly the article I was looking for.. But this states.. most of the points. While I do not agree with ALL... It is ment for the people who either get an Illegal abortion.. or those that "try" to m/c the baby on purpose.. through reckless acts..

I can understand if it was done on purpose, but the one I read it sounded like if a woman fell down and that caused a miscarriage that they would put her in jail....I was also thinking....50% of the time they don't even know how a miscarriage is caused, so I wonder how that would work?
