Aitch it depends on Why the progesterone....

1) Some people have a defficancy (progesterone is needed to sustain a pregnancy)

2) Some Drs feel that it can help substain a pregnancy after a lady has had multiple losses

3) If a woman is on clomid, Clomid breaks down the lining, Progesterone helps to build it up.
