Had my 2 week check up appt today.. m/c mentioned

First off, the receptionist was a moron! She says to me "You delivered your baby?" I was like, "Um, no... I miscarried" She was like, "Oh, I'm sorry". You'd better be sweetheart... you're on the top of my list now!!

Any how, everything checked out fine and 5 vials of blood was taken for testing. The Dr. said he should have the answers in 10 days so I should call the end of next week. Another waiting game. FUN!

I asked DH what his thoughts were on TTC since the Dr. didn't really give us a timeline. Just that if I wasn't pregnant by the end of the summer to give him a call. Yeah, right. Like I have the patience to wait 4 - 6 months for that to happen. Dh feels we should take the next step and see a Fertility Specialist which I'm thrilled about. I started looking into the Dr. we want to go to. DH's sister recommended him. I believe he is the top rated on Long Island. He's also Natalie Portman's dad! How awesome is that!! Any way, I'm going to call tomorrow to make the appointment. DH thought that we should wait until after the blood work from the OBGYN, but I think they would just run the tests again anyway? Who knows, I'll find out when I call tomorrow.

We also checked with our insurance to see if we have any coverage and we do! Up to $10,000!!! That's awesome!!! I'm so excited about that. Even though DH isn't working now, we have coverage until the end of the month, then we'll have COBRA.

What a silly receptionist. Ugh. How upsetting.

But how great that you are moving forward with the fertility doctor. And totally cool about who he is

That receptionist needs to pay closer attention! That is so horrible.

But it sounds like you and DH have a good plan. I hope everything works out great!

UGH i'm sorry about the comment! You know when I went in for my last pregnancy to get it confirmed they gave me Ella's due date as my new due date...I couldn't believe how stupid they were! they didn't even understand when I tried to explain to the...Office people really annoy me!

I'm sorry you didn't get the bloodwork back yet, I hope you can get some answers when you do get it...That's great about the coverage! GL and I hope you get a sticky baby soon!
