And its a BFN. Of course. And then late last night/ early this am AF came to visit. Ah well on to the next cycle. DBF seems to be very optomistic, very huggie and sweet, sayinf he feels like this month is going to be the month. It actually just makes me cry, knowing how hopeful he is cause Im starting to believe that maybe its just not going to happen. Old eggs, previous leep procedure and god knows what else. Ive made an appointment to see my Doc on Friday, to ask about the consequences of leep and also to ask about checking us both out. I mean, Im 39 and in my head I know I dont really have the time to see if we can, for a year before they start checking things out.

I'm sooo sorry Tobi I agree with seeing the doc, usually when you're over 35 they don't wait a year of TTC before helping! Good luck!

I'm sorry Tobi. I think it is a good idea to talk to your doctor. I hope this is your cycle and this is the last time you see AF for a long time

Just some medical info on LEEP, while there is no research to indicate it can cause trouble conceiving, it has been shown to have an increased incidence of cervical incompetence, but that would be after removing a sizable amount of tissue. (also maybe ask the doc to check for cervical stenosis)

I am not trying to scare the bejeesus out of you but rather give information so as to approach it with a "okay, how to do we work with this" mentality. And like a previous poster pointed out, after 35 you don't wait a year. Six months of unprotected sex and no pregnancy is the "time limit" for doc checking on women TTC after 35.

Your BF sounds like a wonderful man and you two both deserve to hold your child soon. Sending lots of sticky dust and positive vibes!

I'm sorry about your BFN this cycle, but I think you have a good plan to see the doctor. And you seem to have a great support system!

You ladies are my rock(s)!! My DBF is great but I think that unless someone has walked in our shoes, they can not entirely understand our struggles and fears.

Re: BigGrin, thanks for your input, I would never think you would post something to scare me! I thank you for sharing your knowledge with me!

Thank you all again for all you ladies do!
