I'm just curious if your period was different... lighter? heavy? lots of clots vs. normal af?
My AF has been extremely short, but day 1 and day 2 very heavy, clottier than normal... now today nothing but a spot. Very unusual

Heavier, with large clots of tissue. I think it lasted three days, then was like a normal af for two more days. The cramps were bad in my back.

Celena, I was going to post about that very same thing. You know how positive I was that I was pregnant last month, it never was confirmed with a bfp, but I do know my body and the nausea and night sweats, and of course the dreams. I have never dreamed of being pregnant when I wasn't. Im totally convinced it was a chemical.
BUT what I find most interesting is what you said about your period. I bled super heavy on Saturday. The kind where you sit on the toilet and it sounds like you are already peeing because of the blood pouring out. Then Sunday heavy but nothing like Saturday. Then today, couldve saved myself the trouble of wearing any product whatsoever, because its less than spotting. Im very interesting in seeing what the other ladies have experienced as well.

I am so sorry ladies (hugs)... Chemical pregnancies are hard. I had one in October of 2008. AF was very similar to what you both are experiencing. The heartbreak and disappointment was really hard.

Thanks ladies for your responses... I'm pretty convinced that I just had a chemical pregnancy as well. I had some inet cheapies come up faintly positive which is why I ended up testing with that digi's. So with the symptoms I had, with the hpt's and the difference in AF it seems like that's what just happened. My emotions were NUTSO as well which never get THAT bad.
I'm not sure what entirely to think... confused rather.
Tobi... We sounded very similar as well. I'm sorry hon! I bled very very heavy, very clotty on Saturday and Sunday to the point I was changing a super plus tampons several in an hour along with my always heavy thins pad's as well. Today pretty much nothing except a spot like I mentioned above.

My first loss was a chemical. It was more like af than the other later loses, but it was still heavier the first few days. Even with some clots. It was so sad....always is. I think you are right, I think you had a chemical...I would even discuss it with your doc. Good luck and I am sorry Celena....

Hugs, Celena. It does sound like you had a chemical. I'm so sorry you had to experience that on top of everything else. I hope this cycle is a turning point for you.

My period with my chemical came on suddenly in the middle of the night, I woke up to the gushing. It was nothing like how I normally get my period with mild cramping and spotting.
It was almost a year ago now so I can't remember how long it lasted, I do think it was shorter than normal.
