After thinking about it long an hard, and discussing it with DH, I have decided to semi-permanently stop TTC. I have decided to finally pursue my lifetime dreams of becoming a doctor. Starting in the fall I will be attending university. If, after my medical education is finished, we decide to TTC again, it will most likely consist of IVF with PGD . (DH has a balanced trans-location, but I am perfectly fine.) We definitely plan on adopting after my education is done regardless of whether we TTC.

I am feeling very happy with this decision. I have finally found peace. I do not spend every moment consumed with the grief of eleven losses. I am still sad obviously, but I chose to see the situation in a positive light. A new door has been opened to me, and I am walking through!

I wish you the best of luck in becoming a Dr. Is there a certain field you want to practice in?

Adopting is a wonderful idea. I hope that goes smoothly for you.
