So Im going in today to talk about taking Clomid or what else she suggests for me to do at this point. You think she will just hand over the Clomid or will she do testing? Anything in particular I should be asking? I have a long history of no periods. Im getting periods after my loss but cycles are about 36 days long and Im afraid Im going to go back to my cycles being no where in sight. She had told me last year that with my age (35, 36 in Nov) that if we did not get pregnant soon she would intervene with meds, etc... Of course that was before my loss. Im nervous about what she will say but excited all at the same time.

Good luck at your appt. I'm not exactly sure what your Dr. will do for you and if she will just hand over a Rx for Clomid. If she does, that's great. She might do some blood work, which would be good cause then you could get some answers. Just be sure you tell her as much as you can and what YOU want to happen. I hope everything goes good!

Good luck at your appointment!
My OB told me that he would just hand over Clomid when I am ready, but a lot of Dr.'s want some tests first. Either way is good, though! I hope that this appointment helps you move forward!

So I saw my OB. She is very gung-ho about helping us achieve a sticky bean. She prescribed me Clomid. She is also going to go ahead and start me off on 100mg which I was a little shocked since I always read 50mg to start. She also has her patients take it from CD 2-6, just a little different from what I have also read. She gave me 2 cycles worth so if no bean by then we will address it again. She does not think there are fertility issues my loss was just one of those things.
So all in all a good appt. She answered my question and gave us Clomid to start next cycle if this one is a bust. She also said she has heard bad things lately about the IC ovulation tests. She advised me to buy the CBE digital with the smiley face.

She just said that recently she has had alot of complaints from patients and she has heard the same from other colleagues in regards to their patients complaining as well. She advised me to stay away from the IC and use the CBE digi's. She didnt give me any specifics thou.

Yup, the smiley faces are the way to go!
Every doctor is different and the dosage/timing sounds good for your clomid cycle. This month I took 100mg of clomid cd 2-6! Is your doctor going to do any monitoring this cycle (ie: bloodwork or ultrasounds to check for follies ect...)

I use the CBE digital OPKs as well! They are more expensive, but they are so much easier than guessing and trying to decipher the lines!
I'm glad you got the Clomid and have a plan for moving forward!
