I'm on like day 9 of bleeding, day 6 of bleeding ALOT...Yesterday and today is really bad, and I can't even leave my house because i'm filling up a pad every half hour or less...Last night I was going to bed and started bleeding really bad and couldn't even get off the toilet for a half hour...It felt like I was peeing, but it was all blood, constantly coming out (and very large clots)....Even if this is a period, is it normal for it to be this bad? I keep saying that it will lighten up tomorrow and it's not and i'm really worried...I tried to call my doctor's office but just got the answering service...They are moving offices and are closed tomorrow, so i'm not even sure if they will see me...Any way, I just needed to vent...I just want this to be over already.

and if you can't get thru go to the ER.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this, but I agree that you need to see a doctor. That bleeding does sound out of the ordinary, and you should be seen. If your doctor's office isn't open, then you probably should head to the ER. Hugs.

Well I called them back AGAIN, then 20 minutes later got a call from a registered nurse from another zip code and an accent, so who knows where she was from...I'm so annoyed because I either wanted to talk to my doctor or a nurse in his office that knows me....I hate telling things to strangers, she asked me if I was breastfeeding (after I told her that I had a loss at 15 weeks) and asked if i've had any sexual abuse or rape...It was just weird...Any way after being asked dumb questions for 15 minutes she told me to go to the ER...I guess i'm going to go get my kids out of school early and take them over to my mom's so I can go to the ER.

I hope you are ok! Bleeding like that could be a hemorrhage. I am so sorry.... Please go to the ER asap.

I agree - that sounds like it's excessive. I'm glad that you got through to someone, it's probably a nurse triage group. I worked in a medical practice that contracted a company like that. Good luck at the ER - please KUP! Hugs!

Well I never went...the bleeding has slowed down, which has been the pattern...I know it's stupid, but I just hate to go to the ER and have to pay another bill...My doctor's office is closed till monday...I talked to DH and as long as I feel fine other than the bleeding i'm going to wait till monday and if the bleeding hasn't stopped or at least almost stopped i'm going to demand to be seen by MY doctor.

Megan, you should really go to the ER. Bleeding like that is NOT normal. I understand the not wanting another bill, but that is some serious bleeding. I hope it slows down a lot and that you are feeling better. If it starts up again, I strongly suggest you get to the ER.

Yeah I understand this bleeding is not normal...ugh I hate going to the ER, the wait here is HOURS just in the waiting room...Last time I went to the ER is when my daughter cut her head open and we were there till I think 10 at night (we got there at around 5) and the doctor she saw was horrible...With everything that happend i'm just not a very trusting person and I really would much rather talk to my doctor...If it gets really bad again I probably will end up in the ER this weekend, but so far it's not as heavy...DH told me I should just take it easy, which is hard, but that's what i'm going to try to do this weekend, and at least make it till monday afternoon.

I know youve heard it over and over but Im going to add my voice to this one. Bleeding like that can be serious. I have no idea what a visit to the ER would cost, but I would bet that your health and safety is worth the cost. I hope you are ok.

What about a walk in center then? Your bill would be like $200 max.... it would be worth the peace of mind. I am honestly not big on doctors, but this sounds really serious.

use the word, hemorage when talking to the er, that should get you in a lot quicker. I really hope that you went. You could be putting your life in danger. You don't want to bleed out while you are sleeping.

My mom said usually when you hemorage the bleeding doesn't get better...of course she's not a doctor and e ven said she wasn't sure if I should go or not...If you are hemoraging, does it stay bad or get better and then bad again? Honestly I would of gone into the ER if my bleeding had stayed the same, but it got so much lighter after I called in...If by chance it gets bad again tomorrow or this weekend, I promise i will go into the hospital...BTW the walk in clinics are bad here too, i'd rather spend the money and go to the hospital lol

That is really bad then! The longest I have ever waited at the walk in clinic by my house is 15 minutes... They are faster than my doctors office!

Hey, i've been busy all day and haven't had time to post...Just wanted to write a quick update before I go to bed...I was doing good this morning, bleeding wasn't bad at all...So I went out with my mom to some yard sales and to do some things and had to pull over into a mc donalds because I was bleeing so bad...It was just awful having to deal with it in a public bathroom....Luckily since i Have kids, I happen to have some flushable wipes with me...Not sure what I would of done...So then I wanted to stop by sonic since we don't have any near us and we were in another town...We started to eat and that's when the pain got bad...I left and hit the freeway...I don't usually speed, but I had to get home ASAP...I was in such horrible pain, I Felt like I was in labor and I could feel the blood coming out...I thought for sure I was going to drop my mom and son off and drive right to the hospital...I got home and went to the bathroom and about 10 LARGE clots came out...It was such a mess and horrible ugh...I felt fine after....I don't know what it is, but the bleeding gets really bad at around 12-1pm every day and then slows down again...I know this isn't healthy and I know something is going on, but i'm trying my hardest to hold off till monday....My mom thinks it's just a really bad period, but really it's a week Saturday since the constant hard bleeing started...I know it's going to be more than a period..My mom also told me that there isn't anything they can do for me...maybe she's just worried and doesn't want to think something is wrong, but I know my body.

I know you want to hold off until you can see your doctor on Monday, but what you're saying is really concerning. If you don't take care of yourself, and it's something serious it could have long lasting effects. What you're saying does not sound normal or healthy. Please take care of yourself and get checked out ASAP.

I'm sorry you are going through all of this. I would try to take it easy; stay off your feet and relax until Monday. I hope everything turns out okay. KUP
