I tried to find something online, but can't...if you have retained "tissue" from a miscarriage will it still show up as positive on pregnancy tests?

When I had retained tissue I was still positive. I am still positive though even after the dr. did my D&C. Dr. said she thinks I may have tissue/cells embedded in my uterus.

Well good, then I don't think this bleeding has anything to do with retained tissue, and that was my biggest worry...I don't want to have another D&C.

I never went...the bleeding has gotten alot better...It might still get bad again because that's been the pattern...I'm trying to hold out...I know that's probably not the best, but I feel fine..I'm still holding out hope that it's just a heavy AF.

I'm happy the bleeding has let up and that you are feeling fine. I hope it continues to stay on this path and that you just had a heavy AF.
