Well my HCG level was 85 at 4 weeks 0 days. They didn't do an ultrasound because she said we would see nothing this early and then I would be even more terrified all weekend which made perfect sense. She reviewed my chart from last year's ectopic and said most of my endometriosis is concentrated in the area where I am experiencing the most pain, so she is optimistic that it stems from that rather than another ectopic. She wanted so bad to be able to give me "proof" either way but just couldn't this early. I go back Monday morning for another quant. Although there's no proof to reassure me, I do feel a little bit reassured just knowing where my endometriosis is (I was so depressed after my ectopic I never asked her) and that it could possibly be causing my pain. Can I take a nap and skip the next 2 months and wake up either not pregnant anymore (and recovered) or pregnant and entering my 2nd trimester? This first few weeks stuff is for the birds.
