This fertility specialist was on the Doctors today speaking about fertility/infertility... 1 in 6 couples experience infertility in today's statistics. ONE in SIX COUPLES, I had no idea it was that common

What touched me most was when this couple on there wanted to conceive their 2nd baby... she is 46 and her dh is 50. They wanted to know how to go about it without going broke trying to acheive a healthy pregnancy. The doctor gave some advice, like stress reduction being the biggest along with trying acupuncture and some other simple things.

There was a part of the show that made me cry tho... when they were following this lady thru the delivery and it just made me .

Oh I wished I had caught that show. It seems odd so many have infertility issues.

I know what you mean about crying during delivery. I watch all those delivery shows on TV and sometimes it really gets to me. I just wonder why me. Why am I going though this.

I want it so bad sometimes that I can just FEEL it.... imagining myself pregnant with our baby and what it would be like to be with DH delivering. It really can be so hard to watch that knowing just how badly I want it. (y'all know exactly what I mean)

The more I think about it, it makes sense so many struggle with infertility... the hormonal bcp's excreted into our water sources aren't properly filtered out, the preservatives / hormones /antibiotics pumped into our meats n foods, the environmental pollutants, STRESS of life and so on... there's no surprise so many of us deal with this. And allot of women are waiting until after they establish careers or find mr right or whatever to start making a family later in life. BUT, it is possible!!!

I have to say tho there's a show coming on TLC soon about women "70 and pregnant"

1 in 6 seems high, since apparently all my friends and relatives are preggo except me!

That is crazy, but it dosne't surprise me.. There are also things in the shots they give us like the flu virus that kills sperm.... The like I like is that we all know how we feel cause at some point we go through the same feelings and wants..
