I have been lurking for a while. We are not trying to conceive yet, but I am thinking about it. I am sure my DH wants to wait because he wants to finish school and all that mature stuff. I don't want to be pregnant a day past my 35th birthday, so we are running out of time.
I already have enough strikes against me with my obstetrical history, I don't need to add being advanced maternal age to the mix too.
I am Meghan, mommy of four children on earth and one in heaven.

Welcome to the board. I'm Jenna and am also hoping to get this child in before my 35th b-day. I've known a lot of friends/family to have children past 40 even, but I just don't want my children too far apart in age.

Welcome...although I wish I didn't have to say that to anybody...but at least there are places where we can go and get the love and support for the things we are going through, eh? Hang in there and go ahead and lurk, write, respond and post. We all know how you feel and can be there for you!

Hi Meg,
I am Karen. I have 4 beautiful children with me and 2 angels in my heart. I will be 39 in July so I am already in the AMA group. I hope to be pregnant by October so that I deliver before I turn 40. Ouch, that sounds old.
I also have a number of OB issues and have had 1 successful birth and 2 early 2nd tri losses since I hit the 35 year mark.
Good luck and I hope your stay here is short.

 Thanks for the warm welcome.
I hope I don't have to be here too long either, but who knows when DH will come around.
With my daughter it took a year to conceive, so I don't know what will happen. With Colm, my stillbirth it only took one try. Go figure.
I have had persistent breech babies that required surgical intervention and external versions. I have had 4 VBACs, since my first was the c-section. Then I had Colm. So docs already don't 'like' me since I prefer vaginal birth to surgery. Lump on the possible need for external version, and that I am one of those crazy crunchy NCB people. Then throw in a stillbirth for a little interest. I am sure my next OB is going to LOVE me.

Meghan I am so sorry for your loss.. HUGS.. I have three Angels above, and I am 35, I felt the same way.. I didn't want to be pregnant after my 35 birthday.. That didn't happen.. It took us 19 months with three losses... to be were we are now. I hope your stay here is short, and your BFP comes quickly. HUGS!
