The SIS test went well, first the sonographer did an internal U/S. Then the OB used a speculum to insert a catheter, the U/S probe went back in and they injected the solution while the probe was in. They had to do it fast because the solution leaks out quickly. Anyway the OB said that the fibroid is not near the lining and the lining looks great. Only thing is I was midway thru my cycle and they like to do it right after AF.

I still haven't officially heard from my own OB yet but he follows the 'won't call if all is OK' rule and the other OB said we could TTC. Hopefully June will be our month since I am pretty sure May was a bust with the test on CD15.

Only downside to the day was they wouldn't let DH come in with me because it had to be a sterile environment. Also, I was hoping my OB's partner would do the test but it was an OB that I have never met. Oh well, at least we got good news in the end!

I hear that you're more fertile after that and HSG's! So hope this helps give you a sticky bean along with giving you clear results on how things are in there. Sounds like good news already if the fibroid isn't near the lining and that things look good
