The smell of the diaper isle at Target...

So my son needs "goodnights" and I go down to the isle they are on which is the very same one the diapers are on... can I just say I LOVE THE SMELL of those diapers? Today it just seemed intoxicating, perhaps because my last loss has really been on my mind allot. I cannot stop thinking about how many weeks I would be, and I've yet to cancel the weekly "updates" for the week I would be in... self inflicted torture?!

Oh.... Also almost bought a stroller frame, car seat combo on impulse today... like I even know if I'll ever have a healthy pregnancy / baby in the future? So it's better that I didn't.

Have you ever?? Felt compelled??

you bought a carseat and stroller combo!?? omg that would be torture for me. i ahvent bought any baby things in soo long it makes me too sad.. i LOVE the smell of CLEAN diapers lol he he

I didn't THAT would be such torture, DH would look at me like I nucking futz as well.

I'd love to just have SOMEthing... thought about buying baby sized teddy bears and onsies decorating them with the baby's due dates, angelversaries along with a picture representing them.

Oh lol I never got to buy those stroller thingies.. well not for myself anyways! i always dreamed of one tho. i always loved seeing the happy moms opening the big box ahhh : (

The diaper isle almost makes me cry everytime. Sometime that baby powder smell is so strong and it really gets me choked up. I have to go on the isle for goodnights as well. I wish my daughter would get over this so I can stop going down this isle.

I still have to buy a lot of "baby" things (he wears cloth, so I don't go down that diaper isle), but it is sooo hard to see the tiny newborn clothes. I was hoarding newborn clothes and nb cloth dipes, but I stopped. My DH wants another LO as bad as me, so he never tells me no when it comes to that stuff.

I love that smell too. I work at a Kmart with a strong smelling diaper isle. It does still hurt.. I never did buy anything for the baby I lost (as in supplies, but I did buy a memorial kind of item). That would have made me too sad.
