I started spotting on Sunday, brown not too heavy at all. Yesterday the cramps became more intense, still only spotting and sometimes a bit heavier. Today the pain is even worse. I am not even bleeding enough to get on the pad. The er only said to come back if I had a fever or was bleeding badly.
This is my 6th loss, 4th one with no medical intervention, I know to expect pain. But it doesn't usually drag out this long with pain and not passing anything. I am afraid if I go to the Er they will want to do a D&C and I really don't want another one.
Should I be worried?

***So not long after I posted this, about 630pm, I started bleeding heavily and passing LARGE clots. I am cramping so bad it feels like labor pains (which it basically is). I soaked three pads in the last 45 mins.
I called the doc 25 mins ago and he has not returned my call. Not sure if I should try to wait it out a few hours or go to the ER.?****

With my loss I had pain off and on for 2 days and didn't really start to bleed until the hours right before the loss. If the pain gets too bad I would go back to get some pain killers.

I hope that it's over quickly.

That is a lot of blood loss. They say more than one pad in an hour go to the ER. I hope you are ok. Prayers for you.

I would go to the ER also. I was told if it is worse than one pad per hour you should be checked out. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. M/c'ing is hard enough without any additional stress. Big hugs to you!

Thanks ya'll. I didnt end up going. By the time my idiot doc called back, it was slowing down, all in all the really painful part was about 4 hours. I ended up passing 7 plum size clots. It was by far my worst miscarriage (well besides Kai's). I am still tired and woozy. I talked to the Er nurse on the phone and she said to pound gatorade and sleep with my legs elevated, since it was slowing down on its own.
Its just like a bad period right now, I hope the worst is done. If it picks back up or the pain gets worse I will go in.

I am so sorry you have to go through this........HUGS......Glad the bleeding isn't as bad anymore. How far along were you? Did they run tests on why you had all the losses? Again, I am very sorry and I can't imagine going through so much...get some rest.

I am so sorry. Hang in there. Make sure if things get worse again you go in. My 2nd miscarriage was bad like that and after a day I ended up in the ER getting fluids because I was dehydrated. Keep up with the fluids and stay in bed. On other notes though...I am really glad that you didn't have to go through another d&c. That is a tiny bright spot in a very sad situation...

Its just not fair that we have to keep going thru this. I'm glad that the bleeding has slowed down. I hope you feel better soon and your cycles go back to normal.
