Hi Ladies,
I had my CD10 US this morning. My follie on my right side is 22MM and the one on the left is 21MM. I was not expecting them to be that big at day 10. My concern is that i usually don't ovulate until day 17 so I worry that they will be "over cooked" by then. I'm hoping that when the nurse calls today she will tell me that i need to trigger.
Does anyone know, if you have 2 follies, do they both automatically release?
UPDATE
THE NURSE CALLED, I AM GOING TO DO A TRIGGER SHOT TONIGHT. WOOHOOO...LET THE BD'ING BEGIN. NOW I HAVE TO RUN 45 MINUTES FROM WHERE I LIVE TO THE FERTILITY PHARMACY, AS THEY NEVER MENTIONED TRIGGERING TO ME BEFORE AND GRAB MY SHOT. NOW I GIVE SHOTS ALL DAY AT WORK AND THING NOTHING OF IT, THE THOUGHT OF GIVING MYSELF ONE IS MAKING ME NERVOUS. HAAAA......

They are really, really big for cd10. What did the nurse say? If they overcook they turn to cysts and it is so painful, I think that is what happened to me last month. If you trigger then it makes both follies release their eggs. My doctor said that not all follies have eggs in them (I am not sure what the percentage rate is).
Keep me updated, I am interested to hear how your RE deals with your medical care at this point.
Congratulations on 2 big follies!

You also have to remember you were on clomid.. you will probably ovulate early. They say you can ovulate about 5-8 days after your last pill... I would start bd and using the OPK's... You did CD3-7 this month??? when I did 3-7 I ovulated on VD13-14 So this may mean you wil ovulate early!! Get those bases covered!! Send in the boys to be waiting for them eggies!!!! Good Luck!!!

AF still has not arrived and more than a week late. I am not pregnant. I think we are going to take a month off of TTC with medical assistance. I need some time to get my head back in the game as well as let my body rest from the medicine. I hope you get pregnant this month - I am routing for you!

Good luck with the trigger tonight!!! I had DF give me mine, I was too chicken to. It honestly did not hurt at all, the blood draws at the RE are more painful.
How exciting for you!

So since this MA is so new to me, are you doing IUI or are you just doing the clomid and shots? I am not sure what goes together but I do know my Dr wanted to do IUI with clomid and shots. Just curious if there is a way to make it happen without doing IUI. LOL

I hope your trigger shot goes well for you tonight! Oh and for some added fun, if you take a pregnancy test it will show up positive for the next 10 days or so. I did one last month just to see a BFP... It was false of course but it did make me smile

Brandi,
We had a choice of IUI or timed BDing, I opted for timed bd'ing for the 1st 3 months, if that doesn't work, we will move on to IUI. It is the same lead up with the clomid and trigger. When do you start your clomid?

It is pretty much the same process. If you triggered tonight they would do your IUI on Friday morning with the expectation that you will ovulate sometime on Friday.
So instead of the IUI you should BD on Thursday, Friday (am) and Saturday
