I just got home from my follow up visit for my 2nd D&C and hospital stay etc...At the hospital they said it was retained tissue, but pathology reports came back that it wasn't...It was actually something called subinvolution, which has to do with the lining of my uterus not doing what it's supposed to do after birth or D&C...He said that it's something that doesn't happen often....I am still angry that I didn't have an exam after my D&C, but I don't think it was intentional and i'm not sure if they would of caught it or not...I did tell them that they would of noticed something was wrong if they had checked my uterus since it was 8-9 weeks in size...We had a really long appointment, just talking....I also today got the rest of my records...I do like my doctor and i'm going to miss him, and I feel now that he didn't mean for all this to happen, but I told him that i'm still going to find a new doctor...He is leaving his clinic soon any way for a hospital job, so really there is no reason for me to stay...I told him of the 2 doctors I was thinking about and he thinks they are both great...They also want to test my blood on monday and I might have to start taking extra iron for about 6 months...He also suggests I see my thyroid doctor and get my thyroid in check BEFORE I ttc..He doesn't think I should have to wait on TTC other than my thyroid...I'm going monday to get a draw and i'm going to try to set up an appointment with that doctor , actually i'll probably call him now...I asked a lot of questions and we went over so much, it's hard to remember things...I'm glad that i'm no longer angry and that I left his office on a good note...I will still be calling them for anything till I get a new doctor set up.

I'm so glad that you had a good appointment, and were able to resolve things with your dr. I'm so sorry that this has drug on for so long, and hope that you'll be able to ttc again soon.

I am so glad they found out what was going on and that things were worked out with your dr. Hopefully you will be able to TTC soon and your thyroid won't give you to much trouble.
