So the first couple of cycles after your loss...did you ovulate early, late, or the same as a typical cycle?

I just had my second af...really the first normal one since my loss and we are going to stop preventing now. I usually don't ovulate until like cd 18 or so and have 30-35 day cycles, but I just took an OPK today on cd 8 and am surprised at how close to positive it is...thinking maybe I could ovulate in a couple days or something. I am going to keep testing, but I was wondering what everyone elses experiences have been??

I am on cd 8 and the bleeding finally stopped. The pain is worse that it was before mc. This is my 2nd cycle since D&C and still a little heavy and long. We are TTC this cycle and hopefully I won't get an other AF. I don't use OPK's so I don't know the exact time I ovulate but I do have O pains around days 14-16 plus other symptoms so I am guessing that is the o time for me.

Hi, welcome to the board. Im sorry for your loss. After my first Af, it was only cd4 when I ovulated. After that first cycle, I went back to my normal. The same thing happened after my first m/c, I o'ed on cd4 but managed to catch that egg and had a h&h baby boy. I think the only real rule here, is that absolutely anything can happen!

This is my first cycle since my D&C, so I am not sure what will happen. *hugs*
