I'm currently 7 weeks and have seen the heartbeat but I'm still worried. I had 2 m/c before this (yearssss ago) and I don't remember how far along I was.
I is still pretty common at 8 weeks?
Even with my previous m/c, there was a heartbeat beforehand

I am so sorry about your losses. I really hope your little bean sticks for you this time around. I miscarried at 15w4d. I heard the hb and had 4 u/s and was told everything was great. I had a partial molar pregnancy so my pg was doomed from the day we conceived.

I am sorry about your losses.. I miscarried my first at 5wks 6 days and my second one I miscarried at 5 wks 6 days but because my body didn't cleanse itself all the way I was still producing the hormone so wound still pregnant until 9 wks along when I was given methotrexate injections cause they thought it was a possible eptopic...

I found out at 14weeks 3days that my baby was gone...It probably happend at around 14 weeks or 14 weeks 1 day (since I have a doppler I kind of have a good idea)...My baby had a strong heartbeat, always very active on ultrasound...I had an NT scan at almost 12 weeks and it was perfect...I know that once you get into the 2nd trimester the chance of loss goes down, but it is still possible anytime in pregnancy....I hope that's not the case for you and you have a happy and healthy 9 months!!!

My first was a chemical and my second we lost the baby at 8 weeks. I hope this pregnancy is a great one for you. There is a board on JM called pregnancy after loss. These girls are mostly graduates from here and are experiencing the same as you are.
Best of everything.

I am so sorry for your losses. I haven't had a miscarriage. I lost my son to stillbirth at 24 weeks.
I agree with Missy, you might find some comfort in the PAL area!

I lost my baby at 12 weeks 3days. When we went for our NT scan there was no heart beat. The baby died the day before the scan.
The ladies are right, check out PAL those ladies can give you a lot of support. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

Mine was at 8 1/2 weeks...but we never saw a heartbeat. It can definitely still happen, but my doctor told me that the rate of m/c before seeing the heartbeat is like 40-50% (including chemicals) but after seeing it, it drops to about 3-5%. So hopefully that gives you some hope! It's easy to think it will happen because there are so many women who have had them and all of the "rare" things you hear about, but just remember that there are far more women who go on to have healthy, completely normal pregnancies than not.

So sorry for your losses. I hope everything this time around is ok.
My m/c last year was at 9.5 weeks. We saw the heartbeat on that one. The m/c this year, we never really saw a heartbeat. This years loss was at about 6 weeks.

All of my miscarriages were in the 4 week range...so technically "chemical pregnancies."

11 weeks. Baby had a HB at my 8w3d U/S. D&C at 12 weeks.
We can't solve problems by worrying about them, but I totally understand your anxiety. I feel the exact same way right now and I'm not even pregnant. I feel like everything I was told about miscarriage was a lie! We had a HB, everything was completely normal, and there were no signs of any problems. None of it made sense to anyone -- me, DH, or either of my doctors. It's very confusing and frustrating.
I am sure you and baby will be just great! Good luck!

Our loss was around 7 weeks.
Heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks.
Found out at 9 weeks that the beat had stopped.
Best of luck to you.
