I'm confused now. I called and left a message with my doctors nurse earlier asking if they could call me in a prescription for some pain medicine. I said I know the doctor yesterday said start taking Ibuprofen every 6-8 hours as soon as I could but I was afraid the pain would get worse than that and since it's a long holiday weekend I didn't want to get stuck dying and have nothing. She called back and said first, the doctor doesn't want you taking any Ibuprofen or anything else until we know for sure what is going on. Huh? I thought we knew what was going on? She called in some Darvocet which is safe in pregnancy at low doses. If it's a chemical why does it matter if I take ibuprofen and why would the other doctor tell me to take it?

Well, my doctor told me ibuprofen after my d&c - have you had a d&c yet, or are you in the process of m/c? I also got vicodin instead of darvocet because it gives me headaches, but that's just me. I hope you aren't in too much pain! For me, I was in more pain 3-4 days after the procedure for some reason.

The doctor yesterday didn't mention a D&C. Honestly I don't know what is going on. I know my levels were at least 30 Monday and only 9 yesterday. I'll have some pretty intense cramping (grabbing onto something crying) for 30-45 seconds and then won't have anything for about 2-3 hours, then it hits again. Still not even having spotting.

Weird that one doc would tell you one thing and another would tell you something different.
