TGIF!!! It is the weekend... A holiday weekend bringing in the start of SUMMER!!! TGIS!
What are your summer plans?? Are you going on a BIG vacation? Or maybe planing day trips???
How about this weekend?? Any Picnics?

This weekend, no plans other than trying to hit the beach at some point and get one of those mini old school grills to cook a few Nathen's n homemade burgers on  to celebrate the holiday. Shoot since AF is here maybe I'll drink a few beers, wine or my pomegranet vodka stashed in the ice chest.

I have to work this whole weekend, but on Tuesday DH and I are going down south for his sisters high school graduation, it will be so nice to just get away for several days. After this weekend I will have 12 days off, and that is my only vacation for the entire year. We don't have anything big planned for the summer because it's too hard for me to get time off of work, but we will be making some day trips to the coast, or maybe some over night trips to our cabin in the mountains.

We don't have anything big planned for the summer. I don't have vacation days yet at work and DH is trying to save up his leave for when he gets out of the army. I have no idea what we are doing this weekend.

Well, tomorrow we are going to the beach to watch the Air show. Thursday night we went to the Bon Jovi concert, that was awesome and we are still recuperating from that. (getting old sucks!)
As for vacations, we have a 4 day trip planned to Disney next month and after July I will hopefully be pregnant so we won't be able to go to far so just some weekend trips here and there.

Well - for this weekend we're mostly relaxing and furniture shopping! We're also going to a friend's for a BBQ tomorrow.
As for summer plans - well, it's ALWAYS summer in Florida! LOL - Well, most of the time anyway. We're going to San Francisco for 5 days, and I'm going on a business trip with DH to North Carolina for a week. I think we have 2 other trips to NC planned, and I'll be going to stay with his at Disney for a week while he has a conference. I just love the fact I'll be a SAHW! We're also moving into our new house in a month, so we'll be having lots of parties!

Well My dh came home last night.. and the "company" he is working for has pretty much told him... they will be working 7 days aweek... he was so upset when he came home, we have barely spent any time since he started. He has only been off about 7 days since the week before Valentines day... So my summer will be spent alone... with just glimpses of what used to be my hubby.....
As for this weekend?? Guess what... DH is working... Today 9-5, not sure about Sunday.. But I work Sunday night.... than HE THINKS... he is off Monday... That is the other sucky thing... they don't tell him he is working until the day before... WTH????
Sorry for venting.. just really PO'd!!!!!!!!!!

That's tough  My husband owns his own business and he only has every other Sunday off. He works pretty long hours a lot of the time too! It's such a difficult thing to not see your spouse much! I'm sorry things have to be that way for you!!!

I would be PO'd too!! I get upset enough with the Army does that day before crap about once a month.

Well I have no big plans this weekend. We are just taking the kids to Wet and Wild Phoenix it's just down the road from are house. We got some season passes. And Vacation we are going to Miami Fl to visit my family and hit those beautiful beaches. I am also thinking of taking my girls to Sanibel Island while we are over there. I can't take the Phoenix summer without a beach.
