Hi Everyone,
I may be posting prematurely, but the wait is killing me. I was a member of JM during my last two pregnancies...my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage requiring a D&C at 12 weeks and the second pregnancy was very complicated with IUGR and other ultrasound abnormalities, but ended with a beautiful, but tiny little girl, Elise. Elise was with us for 15 months and then passed away on her 15 month b-day (Valentine's Day) to dilated cardiomyopathy and possibly mitochondrial disease. She was very healthy up to that point so we were completely shocked to lose her.
We did extensive genetic testing and everything so far has come back normal. We meet with the geneticist on Tuesday to hear a better explanation of what they think happened. However, we are pretty sure we will start TTC again soon, but we know it won't be easy. I was wondering if there is anyone else out there who is TTC after losing a child. It has almost been 4 months since we lost our peanut and it has been extremely hard going from a family to just the two of us...
