still waiting to start my first cycle after m/c.

i was hoping that my cycle would start like normal, 29 days after i first started bleeding. waiting for AF is so irritating

I'm going on vacation thursday, I was hoping to be done with AF by then. but now I'll probably just be starting...if she decides to show up.
I really hate her ugly face

so when did your cycles start after m/c? and were they normal?

I'm always 29 days, and af lasts 3 days. I'm hoping the 3 days doesn't change.

I have 29 day cycles and my first AF after m/c came 35 days after D&C. It was a very heavy and long AF. Just had my second AF and it cam 29 days after the last one but it was also very heavy and long. HUGS. Waiting for AF sucks.

today marks 8 weeks since my miscarriage (D&C) and I think AF is trying to come, slowly, but something is going on..it's also been 24 days since my 2nd D&C, which actually makes sense because I usually have 26 day cycles, so i'm thinking if it starts in the next couple of days it might be on track again....I'm having major PMS, and cramping for the last week.

I wish I could help I just wanted to say I hope she shows soon for you. I know the OBGYN I saw said if I reach the 35-40 day mark and haven't started to call and they would give me something. I don't know if that's because I was only 5 weeks along and have PCOS or not. Have you asked your doctor what to expect?

My cycles were about 28 days after my D&C's but normally they range from 26 - 33 days. Not much help from me sorry.

I hope you enjoy your vacation though.

Thanks for all the feedback...waiting sucks. I feel like she's trying to show...I'm having slight cramping and had one episode of light brown tinged CM.
I'm crossing my fingers that she holds off until the vacation is over!

I wasn't able to make it far enough along to see the midwife, but I had my betas drawn here at the clinic I work at. When the labs showed that I was having a m/c the Doc said I needed to be seen by a specialist ASAP and have a d&c or I could get a serious infection...all this without him even actually seeing me.
I didn't go see anyone. I just let it run it's course. However, if AF doesn't show within the next week or so, I'll be seeing someone, just to make sure everything is ok.

I had a d&c on 4/5 and just now finished my first AF that came with the aid of Provera. Or at least I took the provera, but AF started coming the day I took the last pill which is kind of odd.

Anyway...my doctor had me start the provera 6 weeks post d&c if I hadn't started on my own. I think if I'd given it another 10 days or so I wouldn't have needed the provera.
