how long did it take?

I've been spotting now for 3 days and it's like AF wants to start, but it just won't!!! i'm having horrible cramps and spotting that is coming and going, sometimes it's red, sometimes brown, sometimes pink...It's really aggravating me because I want it to just start already...Just curious if anyone else had an AF like this after their miscarriage? was it just slow coming once it started? I'm going to help on a field trip with my daughter's class on friday...I don't even want to know what it's going to be like if AF starts tomorrow or friday.

oh and I know you can't use tampons after a D&C, is it okay to wear tampons once AF comes back? I don't think I could stand another week of pads. lol

well I am still waiting on my first af after the m/c, but I can answer the tampon question...my doctor told me it's okay to use them 2 weeks after the m/c. Hopefully she shows soon for you! I am in the same boat...I just want her to show so we are closer to ttc again!!
