Bought some today. What CD are you supposed to use it? How much? And who is willing to try it with me?

I believe Celena is trying soy isoflavones also. Maybe she can help you. All I know is that it's like taking Clomid but without the side effects and some women have taken it CD's 5-9. Good luck with it. I hope it works for you!!

I have taken them and they worked great! I would start out at 80mg 1 time a day (usually at night before bed in case you get hot flashes) either cd 3-7 or cd 5-9.

I'll do them with you! I am waiting on AF to show now - should be today or tomorrow if I o'd when I think I did. We're ntnp right now, but I don't ovulate regularly b/c of PCOS so I had to use clomid before my bfp. I'd like to try them during our ntnp phase to see how they work for me without any pressure of actually having them work

Where do you get them? Can I just get them at a grocery store?? I took Clomid cd3-7, when are you going to use the soy? I'll probably do the same days because I ovulate late anyway, even on clomid (usually like CD17-22).

You can buy the Soy Isoflavones pretty much everywhere they sell vitamins. I got mine at Walmart.

The difference in the days taking them is they say if you take them earlier in your cycle (starting cd 2 or 3) it produces more follies, later in your cycle (cd5) stronger eggs.

I have heard success with pcos as well... Google TTC Soy Isoflavones... Lots of success stories

Good Luck Ladies!

Does the Soy Isoflavones cause any of the ill effects like Clomid? thin lining, cycts..etc... Since my OB is not monitoring me while im on Clomid, Im wondering if this isnt the safer route to go.

I wasn't monitored while taking them but the studies show that they do not thin your lining and there have been no reported cases of OHSS... I did get positive OPK's both months taking it where I was only getting + opk's about half of the time before that. I got hot flashes the first month taking the soy but not the other horrible side effects I had while taking clomid. I was an alien while taking the clomid.

I am not recommending you take Soy over Clomid, I would talk to your doctor first.

And Yup, I am trying to get Celena pregnant with twins Oh that still makes me laugh!

I plan on taking soy isoflavones as soon as AF decides to show. I am currently on CD57 and have been on Fertility Blend for the last 2 months and just stopped. I don't O and my cycle before this one was 130+days. I have already purchased my Soy Iso from walmart, they are 40mg tablets and I also bought some prenatals. I plan to take SI from CD3-7 at 120mgs.

I took the soy iso this month, I took 120 mg CD 3-7, and I did not have any side effects. I had O pains, which I don't normally have, and I'll know if it worked in about 4 days!

Brandi, I am sorry you have a hard time with pills. They are a little smaller than a dime and round. I just read the package and it doesn't say do not crush. I am sure you could crush them and put them in applesauce and take them that way.

IDK about soy but I know a little about Clomid. I've taken Clomid in the past due to a progesterone defect, which is caused my not Oing successfully so my guess would be that if you do have a porgesterone defect the soy would help you O & thus raise your progesterone but of course it's kinda iffy b/c there were cycles that I didn't O taking the higher dose of 150 mg of Clomid so I'm sure it'd probably be the same way with soy.

I know you bought the progesterone cream at GNC recently... do you have a progesterone defect???

I havn't been tested yet.. I was suppose to go to have my progesterone tested but I can't find out pricing and I don't know if I can use a different lab just yet.. Gonna call them tomorrow and ask.. I keep forgetting.. I picked it up to use as a just incase since I have had 3 early miscarriages.
