So I finally stopped bleeding today, but I know this sounds weird and it is probably wishfull thinking on my part but I am still having some of the pregnancy symptoms I had.. I had so much blood and clots I know there is no chance I could still be pregnant.. I still get headaches daily regardless of if I have caffine, and my lower back is still bothering me all the time...My boobs don't hurt on the side but that stopped before I found out I was pregnant it was just my nips being more sensitive.. This is just strange.. With my last two pregnancies including the one that thought was eptopic I lost my symptoms like that.. Never had another thing to even think I was pregnant, and the bleeding I thought lasted longer.. Makes me wonder. I might go buy a test to see what it says..

Hi There,

I've read it takes around 6 weeks for Hcg levels to reach zero with a typical miscarriage, and it is not unusual to continue with pregnancy symptoms during that time. You may even have a positive pregnancy test from the Hcg leftover.

Did you have an ultrasound to confirm you did indeed miscarry?

I was only like 4wks 3 days when I started bleeding but since I had previous miscarriages I knew what to expect... So I didn't feel the need to go to the ER.. It was so early they wouldn't have been able to see anything anyways..

Oh Ok. I'd probably wait a few weeks and then try a test then... since I think if you were getting positive tests you might still but I wouldn't trust them to be accurate. If you were just 4w3d along than I would think a few weeks would be enough time for your Hcg level to reach zero.

I felt completely normal 2 days after my D&C - it was actually really shocking.

Maybe there are some missed POC in there...I've heard that they will keep producing hcg until they are completely gone.

But I hope it's a bfp and not that!!

I think that is what happened lasttime and my numbers kept rising and rising.. The Dr said it was a possible eptopic because they couldn't find a baby and my numbers were high but that was like 4 wks after I started bleeding, and I didn't feel preggo after all of that.. I felt normal.. This time around I am still waking up sweating, and all the others.. I havn't been starving or eating more like I was in the beginning but I have gottten nauseated a few times.. I temped this am too and my temps are still high like when I was before the bleeding.. I am puzzled.. Buying a test from the dollar store.. I know when I miscarried my last two my tests went almost neg..So if it is dark I will get my butt to the ER.

My DH didn't take me to the store so I havn't tested yet. It will probably be tomorrow at some time.. I am going to temp in the am to see what my temps is again.. I will keep you all posted..

I do know one thing.. A pair of shorts I wore before I found out I was pregnant I couldn't get fastened. They were really tight around my abdomen but I don't look bloated or feel bloated which is strange..
