Numerous studies have yet to demonstrate a correlation between anesthesia and conception/fertility. This includes a wide range of anesthesia, from conscious sedation (Versed and Fentanyl) to general and local anesthesia. Women undergo various types of anesthesia during pregnancy, from local to general, and so far there has been NO correlation between the two. Safe anesthesia is not at all likely to affect your fertility or your chances of conceiving. When you are anesthetized, your regular physiological functions continue. It's really just an effect on your central nervous system, not your reproductive system. It mostly just affects your BP, your respiration, and your metabolism. Not your reproductive system.
Pregnant women have root canals and sustain broken bones and other maladies that require anesthesia, and they come out on top. So far, according to the New England Journal of Medicine as of 2009, there has been NO evidence that ANY kind of local or general anesthesia has affected conception, fertility, or fetal development.
I hop that helps. Good luck!
