Just a quick question, I hope someone can help
So i'm on CD 11 today (saturday June 12th) and I started my monitor on CD 6...I've had Low fertility every day, except today it went up to high...Well I took an OPK too and it doesn't even hardly have a line...Will a monitor go up when it starts to see an increase? I just don't understand why it went up to high but my OPK was very very very negative...Also, how many high days have others had before it went to peak?

The CBE monitor give you 4 more or so fertile days than OPK's alone because it measures 2 hormones as opposed to one which can detect a rising in the levels giving you several "high" fertility and even a couple "peak" then even possibly a "high" before it returns to low again. After that it will stop asking for tests.
It sounds about right tho and I would be bd'ing every day to every other day *jic* to give you more chance to get preggers. Allot of the reviews I've seen of couples and even reviews on ebay about it... allot of them get pregnant within the first 3 months and almost all of them within 6 months!
Hope this helps, sorry I'm rambling

My monitor (thats broken now, so who knows if its right) gave me 1 day of high, before the peak. Peak for 2 days, then high, then to low again. When I called customer service, they told me that the machine is programed to give you one high reading after the peak, then return to low. The first high reading is when it detects the rise in estrogen, peak is estrogen and LH surge.
Happy BD'ing!

I got another high reading and the line got way darker today!!! I'll test with an OPK later today...I'm going to try to BD every other day untill I reach a peak than every day...I won't be upset if I don't get pregnant this cycle any way, since it's my first since my miscarriage...i'm trying not to stress about it too much.

Great news Megan. I've always found that my monitor and the OPK worked in sync.
Good luck

I took an OPK and it's way dark!!! Not positive, but yesterday I didn't have a line on the OPK at all, so I'm pretty sure Ovulation is in the very near future!!!

I got a peak this morning!!! ACK...I'm so mad at myself..I was waiting for DH to come to bed last night so we could BD, but I fell asleep UGH....I'm just kicking myself in the butt thinking about it, and i'm mad at him for coming to bed so stinkin late...I hope we can tonight and it won't be too late...I don't think i've ovulated since I haven't had a positive OPK yet, so hopefully it's not too late ....EEKK i'm so excited my first ovulation since the begining of Jan lol

When we were trying earlier this year, we BD'd the 2nd night of peak on the monitor and I got a BFP that month. So you're not out yet. Get to BD'ing tonight. Try to get DH to go to bed with you!!!

oh i'll tell him tonight we have to do it LOL...I was going to not tell him when ovulation was happening, so it wasn't so stressful, but I don't think that will work...according to Fertility friend it says that I might ovulate tomorrow.

I don't usually test with OPK's this early, but I just took one at 7:30am since I won't be home most of the day and it's positive!!! Wow, I went from no lines at all 2 days ago to a positive...Usually I get a gradual line over a few days...YAY i'm so happy
