Going in tomorrow for some testing. My dh is having some chromosome testing done and I'm having all sorts of testing done-- mostly blood clotting disorders and things like that. I think they're going to have to suck out vials of blood with a vaccum cleaner from me to have enough for the list of tests my doctor wants. *gulp*
I'm just praying that we get some answers. Good or bad, I want answers. I think that would be very, very comforting right now just to have a "why".
I'll let you know when I know something....

Good, Im glad you are on your way to finding out some answers. Its pretty scary but I hope a relief in some way. I think its better to 'deal with the devil you know, thn the one you dont' or however that saying goes. I wish you luck, keep us posted!

Don't worry it's not that bad... I had all of that done, they WILL SUCK YOU DRY and might have to switch arms. But it's not THAT bad honey. It'll make you feel good once they go thru and start getting the ball rolling to check things out.

Drink a lot of water! But you already know that, right?
How long will it take for them to give you answers? I always find that waiting is the hardest part.
Afterwards, treat yourself to a chocolate shake. Anyone who gives blood should get chocolate after, it's a given =)

LOL Angela! I'll remember my water... and no, I don't think I knew that so thanks for the tip!
Thanks girls! I'll definitely let you know. We're going to walk into the medical clinic at lunch today for the blood draws. My doctor already called in the order for the tests. After that, we wait until my doc gets the results and lets me know what's next.
I told my dh that we need to do this today. He said, "I'll consider it..." What?! He was kidding. I'm so glad he's on board.

I thought you worked in the medical field so you'd know about the water/blood thing. When I was losing the baby and they had to take all that blood, they were like "Didn't you drink any water???" And I was like "Well NO, why would I do that???"
Then I learned. Sometimes it works better than others. But now I do it regardless, at least I feel like I tried.
