Sorry it took so long to update you ladies. I couldn't handle coming on earlier. My appt today was horrible- this is going to be the condensed version because that's pretty much all I can handle right now. Apparently the low fluid is not from the placenta- it's due to the baby's kidneys not functioning. The perinatologist told us that this condition is not compatible with life. They want us to make a decision if I want to be induced and when. Apparently I can possibly go full term but the baby won't make it. I really don't know what else to write. I will possibly be on tomorrow but I'm not sure- I really don;t know how I'll feel. Oh, we will also be looking to go to either SF or LA to get another opinion, just in case. Oh, the baby (still questionable gender) is growing appropriately and heartbeat was 157. However, the chest already has a barrel shape to it which is a bad sign for breathing when born. Oh, please DO NOT MENTION THIS ON FACEBOOK!!!!! We're not telling many people right now. Thanks. If this post seems kind of unemotional, please don't hold it against me. I've been crying so much today that I have thrown up everything I've eaten so I am just spent.

This breaks my heart. Nobody should have to hear that their baby is not compatible with life. They are the worst words any parent can hear

omg that is horrible, that poor woman. I'm praying that they are wrong and am glad to see that they are getting a second opinion before making any decisions.

What sad news. I just can't imagine hearing that. My heart is breaking for her and she will definitely be in my thoughts for quite a while.

I simply can't imagine the pain she is going through. I will pray for her tonight that she find comfort and peace somehow. This is so sad.

It was so hard to read this last night, my heart just breaks for her.... so glad to see she's going to get a 2nd opinion! PRAYING TO GOD for them  a healthy baby!
