So I tested this morning at 9dpo. I was suppose to wait till 10 but couldnt. So anyways I tested with a dollar store test thinking nothing would show up. It was a faint line within the first 2 min of testing. So I was freaking out, then backed it up with a FRER(pink wrapper) and NOTHING. So what is the deal? Are the dollar test just that bad that they would give a false postive right away like that? I know the FRER test has to be more sensitive than the dollar test right?

I just dont know what to think. I have gotten faint lines on dollar store test but normally not within 2 min. So they were always evaps. I am not sure how its an evap at 2min but I guess they are just not acurate or the FRER test would of showed a faint line to right?

seems to me that an frer would show a line if a cheapy did.... but you know there is only one thing to do....'

Has anyone has false positives with the dollar store test within the first 2 min? Is this commen?

I've heard that the $ store tests can be more sensitive, but don't quote me on it. Someone else I know got her BFP on a $ store test before a FRER. I'm keeping everything crossed for you!

Brandi, I hate to put this out there and hope it's not your case too, but one of my friends on here got a blaring BFP on a $ store test and 4 hours later got AF.. so it was a strong false positive and it wasn't a mc.
I really hope if you test again with a FRER tomorrow that you'll get a BFP!

Generally the sensitivity of the Dollar store pregnancy test is better or the same as most name brand pregnancy test. I would say wait a few days and test again.

I personally have never used the $$ store ones but I would wait a few days and test again.

I tested again today and started with the dollar store test just to see and it was so much lighter that I could barely see anything. So I guess its just those type of test. I am 10 dpo so something should of been there darker than what I seen. I always see a hair of something on these anyways but yesterday it was darker than I had seen in the past even though it was still a faint line.

So I may just hang out and see what my temps to as I really dont want to see a neg test yet again. This is so heart breaking.

The dollar store tests are so iffy.... I've had odd lines and dye effects pop up on them. Hang in there and I would use a FRER in a couple days!
