Does anyone else know why they m/c? I just had some routine bloodwork done last week that I have done annually, and my white blood cell count is really low. So my dr. told me this is probably why I miscarried. Just curious if anyone else has the same thing and what the end result was? I have to have the b/w repeated in a few weeks to see what the actual root cause of the low count is, but just curious if anyone else had this or something similar?

I had an infection that I had not known about but my doctor was very cautious not to imply that it could be a reason. I think because it could have been so many other things he did not want to say anything. My OB said that she wasn't sure why that it just happens and left it at that.

I do. For some reason, neither I nor my OB knows why, they did some genetic testing after my D&C. That revealed my little one had Triploidy.
It was nice to finally have a reason why, though totally unexpected. I do feel incredibly lucky to have been given a definitive answer.

No conclusive reasoning... ureaplasma can cause recurrent miscarriage, but that wouldn't have caused the ectopic. I had an IUD for approx 5yrs and it's possible that scarred my left fallopian tube... there's so many what if's and we're not even sure :/

I do not know why. The baby passed a few weeks before my 10 week u/s. I had no idea.

I had a blighted ovum, which basically means an empty gestational sac with no baby inside. It's one of the most common causes of miscarriage in the first trimester.

I only know for sure one of my losses.. My second loss I had to have a d/c.. and the testing showed trisomy 22. As for the other 2... It could be do to my clotting disorder. I have a MTHFR Mutation.

My first I needed a D&C and they did testing and that ended up being a partial molar pregnancy. My 2nd there was no testing since I m/c at home. My progesterone was not rising even with supplements, I was even taking 300mg prometrium twice daily. My third I did not miscarry but I had it confirmed by CVS that she had trisomy 18
