My dr. said today it will prob take 6 weeks for AF to show. How long did it take for your 1st AF to show? Does it make a difference how far along you were? I was only 6 weeks along, and my hcg only got up to 1300 at its peak. Ugh. This is all so new and terrifying.

I think since you were 6 weeks along, it shouldn't take as long to get AF...I was 15 weeks, had my D&C April 6th, 2nd D&C May 8th and then got AF June 2nd...I'm sure the farther you are, the longer it will take, but I think it's different for everyone

My first AF started 30 days after my M/C started so almost a normal cycle. All the stuff after a M/C is frustrating because everyone is different, usually you don't know why it happened and then you don't know what is going to happen. It can take a little while to get back to normal and there is a wide spectrum of normal. HUGS.

Patrick was born at just over 16 weeks ..... I was induced and then had a D+C. AF came at exactly 6 weeks after his birth.

It was just over 6 weeks for me...but I have long cycles anyway so that may have factored in as well. So sorry for your loss; it's so hard - especially at first. This board is a great resource though ((hugs))

Mine all came right on time, from the day I started bleeding, 30 days later. Where you were 6 weeks along, i would think it would come on time. You can do an OPK and see when you ovulate and then about 2 weeks after that AF should show.
