We moved into our house this past November. We planned to set the 4th bedroom up as a guest bedroom, then in march stuff happened we decided the 4th bedroom would be DC #2's bedroom and we would combine the playroom and guestbedroom.

Well, we are NTNP yet at the same time I am so anxious to get the bedroom all set up! I mean, it is irritating me beyond belief that the crib is in pieces in the playroom closet, and DD has mismatched bed set (her dresser is the one that matches the crib, and the matching dresser to her bed is in the 4th bedroom).

It is driving me *crazy* not having that room set up but I have no idea what we should set it up as since I do kinda hope that sooner rather than later we will have a BFP. Anyone else kinda dealt with this before? WWYD? I certainly don't want to set it up and then every time I walk by be reminded of the "could have, should have, would have's"

I was that way with Cora, who was stillborn at 38 weeks. I couldn't get her room set up fast enough. I was working on it in bits and pieces throughout my pregnancy. But I haven't in my subsequent pregnancies, probably because a) we didn't really have space for a nursery, and b) the "could have" parts.

Could you do parts of the room that wouldn't be specifically baby related, like paint the walls, etc, but not necessarily have the crib set up yet? That way if something happened it wouldn't be as much of a reminder?

I have my spare room that I've been struggling with for a while now. I really, really want to set it up as a nursery because I know that no matter what someday I will have a baby, even if I have to adopt. I have a crib set up in there right now, and my niece and nephew have all kinds of toys and junk in there. I told myself that my project this summer would be to paint the room, but I just don't have any inspiration right now. The reason I want to get it done, is because I don't want to be bombarded with everything at once when I'm finally pg. I think for me, it would remind me of my goal, and give me hope that someday the room will be filled with happiness and my precious baby.

I've never got to do a nursery.. When I had my son he was in our room so everything was set up in our room.. I had the crib set up after 4 months.. Then when we got a bigger place he was too big for his crib, and it just turned into his room and a bed and it was Thomas themed.. I hope you find something to do soon.
