Just curious. I bought some because I think stress of TTC is getting to me since I've never had any problems with CM up until this last month. DH doesn't like the preseed, so I thought I'd give the robitussin a try. Has anybody used it? Did it help or not? And does anybody know when I should start using it?

I have used it but didnt use it enough I dont think. I would take one dose a day or 2 before I think I am going to o or just when I notice a bit of ewcm. I think you are suppose to take it every 4hrs a couple days before o but cant remember.

I took muscinex and it helped a lot! I took it every day for a few days and there was a noticeable difference. I never tried the Robitussin but it has the same active ingredient so I am sure it would work just as well.

I used both the robutussin and mucinex.. And really didn't see a big diff.. That is why I started to use preseed. (My dh didn't even know I used it.. You might be using too much. I would only use 0.5-1 of the applicator. I would do it in the bathroom before I would get into bed.. It was such a small amout up near my cervix.. I never had 'leakage", Or to "slippery" it was the perfect amount (I think the little bit that coated when I removed the applicator was also perfect for "lubercation".

Good Luck!!

I used it too but didn't really notice a difference...but I think you're supposed to use it up until you o 3x/day. Evening Primrose Oil is supposed to have a similar effect.

I did the same as Kary - just secretly use preseed so he won't even notice.

When I use preseed, DH doesn't notice. The problem is, he doesn't want me to use anything at all and when we're in the 'moment' I don't have a chance to secretly use preseed, and usually when we BD he knows which days to do it on and it's always a spur of the moment kinda thing.

Thanks for your input ladies. From what I read the robitussin is to be used 3x a day, and I'm guessing a few days before we plan to BD. I'm going go give it a go this month and see how it works.

I haven't but we used pre-seed this cycle for exactly that reason and it worked REALLY well for us!
