As some of you may know, I was a week late. AF showed up yesterday. I usually cramp for around 12 hours, then I just continue bleeding for a few days then it's over. This time the cramps (unusually painful) barely lasted 5 hours and the bleeding is now not more than spotting after being a normal for me flow last night. I'm only on the second day of this period. I passed a couple of very small clots (about the size of the average de-shelled peanut), which I rarely get (seriously the last time I passed clots on a period was like 3 years ago). I was having some cramping for several days before AF showed which is highly unusual for me. In essence, this whole "AF" only lasted barely more than 10 hours. I tested with one of those nasty pink wrapper FRERs while being 3 days late then again very early yesterday morning. The new FRERs have been known to give faint lines even if the result is bfn. I saw the faint lines on both the tests I took. I half wonder if I had a "chemical" pregnancy and just passed what was left. This thought just occurred to me a few minutes ago and thought I would seek your opinions. It's probably a bit late to go to the doctor about this.

I really hope it's just my body being weird.

HUGS... I have never used the new FRER. But I have heard thier is always a "line" it has to have pink in color to be positive. I have only had one chemical.. I tested a few days after AF was due.. the line was so faint (I tested on three different tests.. all pink in color.) .. After I started to bleed the test was negative. Your AF can change month to month, or have a strange one every once in awhile. Alot of ladies think because you have a "flooky" cycle.. they wonder or think maybe this was a chemical. While I guess it could be.. I feel alot of the time it is just your body "cleaning out" that month, or depending on what stress you are under that month, so many out side factors can affect your cycle.

Thanks.. I have had weird cycles before, I hope this was just one of those weird cycles. I showed the tests DH and he said he saw nothing. I have line vision lol

You know it's funny you said that about your cycle, mine was 2 days of heavy bleeding then NOTHING. It's nice to have a good deep cleansing, but it worries us when it does that.

The pink wrapper FRER's are pretty questionable... I've heard allot of not good things about them. I don't know the answer to your question or concerns Kira... I'm sorry. Really hope it wasn't a chemical and was your body's way of going thru a little change.
