So I was sorta beating around the bush to DH about what if we don't get pg on our own and what he thought about having IUI or something like that. He asked what it was exactly because he's not familiar with that like IVF ya know... so I go on to explain to him what they do and the approx price for my dr's office. DH says he wants us to have our baby together no matter what it takes, that yes he'd totally do that and then he starts cracking some jokes after hugging, kissing me...
So you know that Kajagoogoo song Too Shy? The chorus says "too shy shy, hush hush eye to eye"
Well DH starts singing "too shy shy, hush hush I U I" Yes, he's punny funny dork!
Anyways, so that might be a route for our future and I'm glad we talked about it. Now he won't stop singing that and giggling. Geesh, created a monster over here.
I'm so happy that this went so well... ya know with my tube being blocked I just wanted to know what he thought about other options. Who knows what will happen, we're going to keep trying and trying and trying to get that super gorilla glued sticky bean! I have a pretty good feeling about this month... my temps have been really even and it makes me think that my hormones are balanced, doing what they're supposed to along with ovulating from the GOOD side and doubling up on that soy iso's. Sure hope this is it, not that I mind BD'ing a ton but I'm so ready.
28 cycles and 28 is one of my lucky #'s along with the date I was born (1-28) hey, I'm looking for the signs! And would you believe an EPT certainty commercial just played while I was typing this last line? Weird!

Your DH should write jingles for fertility meds and procedures
I'm glad that your conversation went so well and you can be confident that no matter what happens, all the options will be open to you to keep trying for that BFP.
BUT you won't need to because this month has got to be your month! Good luck!

Megan, Brittanie & Nicole thank you I'm surprised that it went to well and so easily. I never know with him, but I do know he REALLY wants our baby together and has been more, n more involved in learning/ paying attention to my cycles... LOL last cycle he was like "aren't you a little late? This cycle is longer than usual" and he was right, my cycle was approx 3-4 days later than the 28, 29ish day cycle.
Man y'alls optimisim is infectious Let's shut this board down because we all graduate as a BIG GROUP!!!

That is great that it went so well and that he is so opened minded to get that sticky gorilla glued sticky bean.. That is awesome.. Wish more guys were like that.. I had to laugh at the song... It is good cause I needed that after my Friday night and today.. Best of luck to you hun.. Hopefully you catch that egg and don't have to go the IUI route.

Great news Celena! I just recently had a similar conversation with dbf with the same results only not as entertaining! I agree with the other girls though. Yours is coming soon, very soon. Its wonderful to know you and dh are in the same mindset, even though we think you're not going to need it!!

Sounds like you got yourself a great man there! It's so nice to have the support you need right now. I bet you get your bfp as soon as you make your IUI appointment.

That's is soo awesome that you have such a supportive DH. Though, i'm hopin' you won't need to go that route because you'll get your BFP! Though every time I hear that song now, i'm probably gonna hear it your way haha!
It's good to know that he is truly interested in what it might take to get a BFP, and is willing to do it !!!!!

Sometimes our DH's can surprise us. My DH was first on board with IVF. Hopefully you won't need to do an IUI and that #28 proves to indeed be your lucky number!

Oooooooo thanks girls y'all have made me cry... I'm so scared about it all. Never thought in a million years we would go thru all the we've gone thru together, never thought he would be so open to moving onto getting help if needed. It's all so surreal.
Hope and pray y'all are right and we achieve a healthy, sticky bean. Have to be honest that the thought of giving up on TTC has been plauging my mind, but we're not going to give up just yet. Things all seem to be falling into place.
I just noticed that this cycle STARTED on the 28th of June!!! I'm telling ya it's my lucky number
A HUGE, THANK YOU ladies, you're my rocks!

THis is awesome!!! I had this conversation with my dh not to long ago. He wasnt quite ready for IUI but has now come around to the idea. We decided that if we are not pg by the end of summer we will do the IUI. Hope we both dont have to though.
