How bad was your cycle after your D&C? I am worried about getting mine, bc my cycles are already bad.

I had a d&c two years ago and they cycle after was worse than normal, but horrid.
I just had another one in may, I still haven't gotten a period. I am kinda a hormonal mess. I am dreading the period because I had a very traumatic miscarriage that led to the surgery. Every cramp I get now makes me panic. But I want the darn cycle over with!!

I had one a little more than 4 weeks after my D&C. I won't lie, it was pretty painful, but I was able to get pregnant the following cycle. Also, mine only lasted 4 days, so at least the bleeding did not last forever.

My first period after my D&C wasn't horrible...The cramps were worse than the actual bleeding....The cramps started about a week before I even bled, and lasted for the whole period...The bleeding was heavy, but I have heavy periods so it wasn't unusal, but I spotted longer at the end of my cycle than I usually did, it lasted for over a week...Heavy bleeding was the same as a normal period.

My first period after my D&C took a long time (11 weeks!) to show up, but it wasn't horribly heavy or horribly painful. I hope yours isn't too bad!
