As many of you know I had D&C following a horrible miscarriage on May 21st. It has been 6 weeks and 2 days. No period yet. I had almost a week of ECM 2 weeks ago. We bd'd but were careful (the natural way, not so 100% for sure). I am not ready to get pregnant again yet. We want to wait a few cycles and for the results of my tests, which I should get this week.
I tested, BFN.
But still no cycle. I am an emotion wreck. Hormonal as heck. Also petrified. My miscarriage was SO painful and scary, every cramp makes me panic. Not rational I know, since that kind of pain wont happen again. But, I cant help it.
Doc told me to expect cycle in 4-6 weeks. Did it take longer for anyone else?

My first af after the miscarriage arrived about 6 weeks after the miscarriage. I miscarried naturally. My loss was also very, very early. I had absolutely no pain.. or at least I don't remember having pain. I would give af about another week or so to show, but after that, I would definitely seek some answers from your doc. Good luck!!

Mine took 8 weeks exactly to return, my Dr told me that she wouldn't do anything for me until it had been 3 months or longer. I hope that your cycle will return to normal soon.

Thanks, at least I know its not abnormal to go this long.
This was my 6th miscarriage in a row. The others weren't fun, but this one was hell. The POC got STUCK in my cervix, the had to remove it manually, but then there was still some left so I had to have a d&c.

My first miscarriage was the same. I commiserate with you. It was excruciating. In my case the Dr at the ER was the most insensitive bast@rd Ive ever had the misfortune to encounter. No bedside manner and no respect for me. He literally slapped the poc into a metal bowl and when the nurse asked if he was going to look at it, he brushed his hand through the air at her, and said "take it away". It still makes me cry to this day, 14 years later. I hate that pr!ck.
(Excuse my language ladies.)

OMG I am so sorry. What an a**hole!
My er doc was ok. He offered to let me see the poc (there was no baby, I was 10 weeks with a blighted ovum). The problem was the nurses forgot about me, I writhed in pain, blacking out and bleeding heavily for 2 hours. Called the nurse station TWICE no one ever came. Once the doc came, he ordered pain pills, the nurses never brought them. He went to examine me, found the problem, and removed everything while I sobbed. After I said, some advil would have been nice, and he FLIPPED on the nurses for not giving me the pain pills. All this happened after 2 days of hemorrhaging at home. So cramps freak me now!

Celena that sounds awful!
I only bled for 10 days after the d&c (it was actually only spotting) but nothing since. Not that I want a period, but I feel horribly PMS-y.
